The cabin was part of the Chancellor Peak Chalets group but the owner decided to upgrade his cabin to give it that extra touch. You still have access to the basic services provided by Chancellor Peak Chalets with some additional features not available to the other cabins in the development.
Most cabins for rent in the area are small one room cabins with one bed and little else. Our chalet is over 1,100 square feet of spacious living including a full kitchen and an upper loft. The cabin has a full bathroom on the main floor as well as a half bath and soaker tub in the loft.
The cabin can sleep up to four adults and two children comfortably. The master bedroom is located on the main floor and the upper loft has a queen bed and two single beds.
The chalet is privately owned. As a result it is not subject to the usual 14% sales tax other hotel operators in British Columbia must charge. This is an off the top discount of $35-$49 per night, depending on the season.
